20 SONGS for LIFTING WEIGHTS – PART VI
The first five editions of “20 Songs for Lifting Weights” series (links at the bottom of the post) have been pretty popular (thanks for the feedback) and I am on my way for a late workout and – tired as I am – thought I might benefit from a bit of fresh blood on the iPod playlist.
As a result, I sat down and added another 20 songs from the library to the Anvil of Crom workout playlist that I am using for the current, fairly grueling regime. By the time I am on the 25th set of legs, I am pretty happy for every little bit of adrenaline I can muster.
So from my iPod to yours, her are another 20 songs for your playlist, making 120 so far, enough to get through more than a couple solid workouts.
- Bon Jovi – It’s My Life
- Lonely Island – I’m on a Boat
- Loverboy – Lovin’ Every Minute of It
- Mark Safan – Win in the End
- Marky Mark – Good Vibrations
- Michael Jackson – They Don’t Care About Us
- Mike Jones – Mr. Jones
- Moby – Bodyrock
- NWA – Straight Outta Compton
- Nine Inch Nails – Head Like a Hole
- Outkast – Gasoline Dreams
- POD – Alive
- Rob Thomas – This is How a Heart Breaks
- Rupert Hine – With One Look
- Screaming Trees – Nearly Lost You
- Survivor – Burning Heart
- Tom Cochrane – Life is a Highway
- Tom Cochrane – Willie Dixon Said
- Toto – Hold the Line
- Wire Train – I Will Not Fall
I expect these 20 and the other 100 songs previously mentioned will do us all right for a bit. But you can never really have too much motivation in the gym and a little bit of music can go a long way.
