They don’t get their name before the title of the film – at least not if the film is going to be opening in theatres rather than directly to a DVD case. But they tend to have their names after the title (sometimes wayyyy after the title) of some of your favorite films.
In some of the most groundbreaking and revered films in history, these are the talented actors who helped make the film what it ultimately became. In some cases, they outright stole the show. Yet most of the world does not know them by name, even if most of the world would stand up at once and say: Oh, that guy! Yeah, he was great in [insert film here]!
